The movie we are making has an age demographic of ages 15-24. This age group takes up a suprising 24% of Netflix's users. From this graph, we can see more males have a Netflix subsription.
Choosing Netflix as our streaming service for our movie was a smart idea because as of 2021, they have 209.18 million users. Netflix are much more well known for their streaming service but they actually still operate a DVD rental plan which still have about 2.7 million subscribers for that plan.
Netflix streaming plans are available in some form or another in 190 countries. For comparision, there are only 195 countries on Earth. Netlfix is not available in China, Syria, North Korea or Crimea. Other than those few countries, you can access Netflix wherever as long as you have internet. Netflix has slightly different content in different countries and regions.
Netflix is well known for its content, but it works so well compared to its competitors is its platform. In 2017, the company spent $1 billion on product development abd technology improvements for its service. This includes everything from user interface improvements to improve algorithims to methods that make streaming more fluid and less prone to buffering.

The most popular television channel for Millennials is Channel 4. They are born from 1980 to 1995. I think this is most popular channel because it targets younger audience in their 20s. They have morning breakfast shows, comedy shows and other things that attract their target audience.

Baby Bloomers are the only generation thats been defined by an official government body. The group starts in 1946 and ends with people born around 1964. I think that Netflix is not in their top 10 channels as they aren't used to streaming services. Norman television channels are more common for them.
