Mood Board

The main setting of the movie is in the woods. These two pictures of the woods have a creepy aesthetic which fits the tone of the movie. The first one has a long and winding pathway, but no one knows where it leads. The second picture feels like its ripped straight out of a horror movie. First of all it has a grey tint, this absense of colour gives it a creepy aesthetic. The hand creeping around the tree gives of the feeling that there is danger around every turn. The police tape and car are important to my films story as the police are responsible for covering something up about the missing person. The dark grey colour symbolises the dark and eerie tone of the movie. The colour red has a similar connotation to the colour grey, it is the colour of blood which shows the dark tone of the film. These colours work well with the horror genre of the movie.
